Batman: Caped Crusader Animated Series Debuts on Amazon Prime Video

After a Family Tragedy, Bruce Wayne Gets a New Animated Series

Amazon Prime Video has given a two-season order to the animated Batman series, Caped Crusader.

The series, which was originally announced in 2021 but canned in 2022 during Warner Bros. restructuring, was picked up by Amazon Studios in 2023. It will debut on Amazon as part of their Prime Video streaming service on August 1.

Caped Crusader is an animated Batman series that will follow Bruce Wayne after a family tragedy. The series is created by J.J. Abrams, Matt Reeves, and Bruce Timm.

The cast of Caped Crusader includes Christina Ricci as Barbara Gordon, Jamie Chung as Selina Kyle, Diedrich Bader as Batman, and Mckenna Grace as Batgirl.
